The Canadian singer is said to be worth more than £160 million - but that's not enough to keep him out of Poundland
JUSTIN Bieber's official 2017 book is already being flogged in bargain store Poundland – just five days into the New Year.
The hardback, called The Official Justin Bieber 2017 Annual, was originally on sale in other shops for £7.99 but is now being sold at the cut-price chain alongside other cheap reads for kids.
The Justin Bieber Official Annual has been discounted to £1 down from £7.99 – just five days into the New YearThe Canadian singer is said to be worth more than £160 million – but that's not enough to keep him out of Poundland's bargain bin.
In one store, staff had crammed more copies of Justin's annual on the shelf than any other book on sale.
Poundland shopper Lydia Hunt, 30, from Woking in Surrey, said: "There were so many copies of Justin's book that they were practically falling out of the rack and onto the floor.
"Normally you'd expect to see a celebrity's 2017 annual on the shelves of Poundland much later in the year, but it's only January. It seems people don't even want it for a pound."
A Poundland spokesperson said: "Poundland has always had Bieber Fever and, since stocking the Justin Bieber Annual 2017, we've seen great sales and we're not even 'Sorry' about it.
"So head down to your local Poundland store because you can 'Never Say Never' to a bit of Justin Bieber."
For the authors or singers who've spent many hours slaving over the craft, ending up on the shelves of Poundland is probably a bit depressing.
The bargain shop says its not sorry for discounting Bieber's bookOther famous faces spotted in the bargain store in the past include Craig David, Olly Murrs, George Osborne and Tony Blair.
It's not the only celeb spotting in a discount shop. US heiress Paris Hilton recently joined forces with supermarket Aldi to sell her own range of hair care products, with prices starting at just £1.99 for a brush.
