Lip balms are great to keep your lips moisturized and nourished. I usually use up a lip balm within 2 months. I recently picked up a few lip balms from Dr Organic and today’s review is all about Dr Organic Moroccan Argan Oil Lip Balm. Read on to know more.

The moisturising properties of Moroccan Argan oil are combined with Avocado and Almond oils to help soothe the delicate lip area. The moisturizing and nourishing properties of Shea butter and beeswax also help provide protection, to smooth and soften the lips.

My Experience with Dr Organic Moroccan Argan Oil Lip Balm:

Packaging: The product comes taper sealed. It comes in a twist-up tube package with an orange cap. The cap doesn’t close with a click, but it is satisfactory. There is some information on the package. The twist option is present on the top instead of the bottom. The product is travel-friendly and easy to carry. The product is a little bigger than the normal lip balms.

The lip balm comes in a light yellow color. The lip balm has a weird smell of Amaretto due to the presence of almond oil. I personally do not like the smell of the lip balm. The lip balm is clear and doesn’t add any color to the lips. The texture of the lip balm is thick. However, it feels very lightweight when applied on the lips.

Initially, the lip balm is very solid and it pulls the lips, but after a few sweeps, it doesn’t pull the lips and glides on very smoothly. The lip balm imparts a shine to the lips, but it is not greasy. It hardly feels on the lips and is very light, no matter how much I build up on the lips. The product is very moisturizing and nourishes the lips. It makes the lips very soft and smooth. The product soothes the lips. My lips are very dry and especially in winter, my lips are very chapped! The product intensively moisturizes the lips and eliminates the dryness within two uses. The product contains almond, avocado and argan oil. This makes the product a great lip balm for winters.

The product completely heels the chapped lips and the results are long-lasting. The product contains SPF 15 and this provides protection from the sun. The product is very nourishing and is free from sulfates, parabens, SLS and silicones. The product moisturizes the lips for around 7-8 hours and a reapplication is needed. The product doesn’t survive meals or drinks and needs to be reapplied. I have no cons to write about this product except that the argan, avocado or the almond oil are the lasts in the list and it doesn’t do anything to heal pigmented lips!
