A few weeks ago, news broke that WhatsApp developers were preparing to finally launch the night mode of the app. Now users of the Android app beta have started getting an update that brings mode at least to their preview widget.
The Windows United site was the first to introduce the news, which although not yet present throughout the application, can be activated in the preview widget, which can be created on the Android home screen. Night mode is called "night blue", with a dark blue tint already found in several other applications, such as Twitter.
It is not yet known when exactly night mode will be included in the entire application and when users of its final version will receive the news, but considering the pace from the rumors until the start of the update, it is possible to believe that this will not take long.
