NEW MOVIE: James Brown's 'Get On Up' Biopic Bonus Trailer Released!

Chadwick Boseman stars as "The Godfather of Soul" Entertainer James Brown in the upcoming Get On Up Biopic helmed by 'The Help' Director Tate Taylor. Taylor brings to the big screen the legendary singer's rise to fame and will chronicle Brown's turbulent personal drama such as the singers well known drug abuse, legal, family and relationship problems. Brown who passed away on Christmas Day in 2006 from congestive heart failure due to complications from pneumonia was one of the "founding fathers of funk music"! Brown has been vetted for a big screen debut ever since his death.

The highly anticipated film will be released in theaters on August 1st. This is the second official trailer released for the film and shows the remarkable transformation, acting and performing range of actor Chadwick Boseman. The film also stars Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer, Dan Aykroyd, Jill Scott, Tika Sumpter, Chris Robinson and New Edition Singer Ralph Tresvant!
