Curry's injury seems to be far worse than imagined.
After reaching dynasty status and winning three of the last five NBA championships, the Golden State Warriors is in decline thanks to the outflows of major players and a plethora of injuries that float the team deep in the league's Western Conference. Steph Curry is the heart and soul of the team, but his hands are tied. Curry underwent a successful hand surgery after suffering a fracture on the court, and originally he was supposed to be out of combat for 3-4 months, which meant he would be back in time for the last leg of the season.
In a new report by Ric Bucher of the Bleacher Report, he says that Curry's injury is much worse than originally reported and that he must now lose the entire NBA season. Essentially, this year is a lost cause for Warriors who are starting games with a disorganized group of bank players with every match.
While Bucher's report may be false, depending on how Curry performs his rehab, this is certainly a matter of concern if you are a Warriors fan. Curry has defined his name as a good shooter, and if he can't heal his hand, there's no telling what could happen to his pitch in the future.
For all Warriors fans out there, be aware that this season the franchise may decide to rack up defeats to ensure a good positioning in the next draft. So that next season, the California team can return with Curry, Thompson, Green and good plays to fight for the title again.
